Glacier Ridge event a success.

I just arrived home from Glacier Ridge. I only made it one out of the three days, but I had a blast with what little time I did have.

Winter is approaching for us here in CO. Glacier had some snow on the ground and in the air. Temps were below 20F and the wind was in the 25mph range. Wind chills much lower with the wind.

I didn't do much combat at all, but spent most of the day DSing.

First was the Crossover, with many passes in the high 90mph range. Fastest pass 106mph which was close to my PB with this plane.

Second was the Banana which I wound up good and made many passes in the 110 - 115 mph range with the fastest pass of 122 (a new PB for me). Did I mention it was a beat up glass Banana.

Third was the Predator Bee, which stilled smelled of goop as I had finished the build early this morning. It was smoking fast for a Bee, probably low 90s (no radar readings though). It was easy to see it was a new fresh clean Bee as I was leaving all the other battle hardened Bees in my dust.

Ian got the $50 gift certificate I donated to the prize pool.
