Want to know if your foam wing panel can be cut on CNC hot wire machine easily? This is the tool for you. The default dimensions of my machine are already in the spreadsheet. Just add your root and tip cords along with sweep and panel length. Playing with the default zero (position of the bottom left of the foam block) may be all that's needed to allow cutting.

It will graphically show you if the core can be cut on the machine or not or if you need to change your dimensions.

The more advanced feature of the tool may allow you to rotate a high swept design to allow the machine to cut and otherwise uncuttable core. This however does not take into account what rotation does to the airfoil. I currently don't wish to cut core panels than need rotation as it is a big headache. However this may come in handy for the lucky few who have cnc machines of their own.
