Composite Tooling/Molds

Canuck Engineering specializes in composite tooling for models and drones. We offer a “full stack” in house approach from CAD through to production. We do take on other interesting mold projects for non aerospace customers that need high precision, composite manufacturing techniques, or have specialized material requirements.

Recent Customer Mold/Tooling Projects Include:

  • Manufacturing a full air-frame mold and jig set for a commercial VTOL fixed wing drone consisting of 70+ pieces as well as early stage production of the 1st 20 air-frames. Air-frames and components were manufactured with a carbon – Rohacell – Carbon skins.
  • Design and manufacture of multiple 4’x5’x3′ fume hoods and large 2 piece composite mold for an industrial customer. Hoods are used to collect sulfuric acid mist.

Below are examples of in house projects that we can share in more detail. Customer projects will be handled with strict confidentiality.
