From Simulation to Flight: Where We Test and Fly
At Canuck Engineering, testing doesn’t stop at the computer screen. While advanced software simulations play a critical role in our design process, we believe real performance can only be proven in the real world. That’s why every aircraft we develop is rigorously tested and flown using hard, real-world data before it ever reaches release.
Our Testing & Flying Locations page highlights where this work comes to life. From open test ranges to proven flight sites, these locations allow us to validate performance, reliability, and safety under real operating conditions. To make things easier, we’ve compiled a curated list of the best flying locations, which you can explore via links below, helping you find suitable sites quickly and confidently.
By combining simulation accuracy with hands-on flight testing, Canuck Engineering ensures every design is backed by data you can trust. Check out trusted and reviewed flying locations by clicking on the links below.
AMA RC Model Clubs
A good source of flying/testing locations is your local RC club field. Denver and surrounding suburbs have many established RC model clubs. Canuck Engineering team and friends are members of several local clubs and can get access for RC or drone testing.
Canuck Engineering team includes accomplished RC pilots that compete at the local, national, and international RC competitions. Canuck Engineering has pilots who are currently certified to Part 107 with the FAA.
Rocky Mountain Soaring Association * Andrew is a current member. RMSA website lists many Denver & Boulder flying sites suitable for RC and drones.
Broomfield R/C Airfield Park * Community run RC & Drone field. Open to all pilots. Less than 1 mile from Canuck Engineering’s shop.
